David 'Spark' Livermore was born and raised on the east coast near Boston MA. He took his first trip west with his family when he was 8 years old and upon seeing his first red rock formation in the Garden of the Gods vowed to return to live in the west.
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1973 he made his way west to Salt Lake City, UT where he worked in the ski industy untill 1991. He then lived in Hood River, OR where he was a well known windsurfing instructor until 1999. He has always had a deep interest in metaphysics, and health issues after knee surgery in 1991 encouraged him to pursue a deeper undertanding of health and healing resulting in his decision to attend the Barbara Brennan School of Healing.
Spark received his certificate of completion for Brennan Healing Science in 2003, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Brennan Healing Science in 2007.
